GAMMA MEASUREMENT SYSTEM WITH HIGH PURITY GERMANIUM DETECTOR
Gamma ray measurement is a widely used method in geochemical research, environmental analysis, nuclear industry and astrophysics. By using the gamma measurement system with Ge detector, analysis of radioactive materials emitting gamma ray at different energy and intensities can be performed. Gamma measurement system with Ge detector consists of energy-sensitive semiconductor radiation detector, liquid nitrogen based detector cooling, electronic system and signal amplifiers that process the data from the detector. The germanium crystal in the system is high purity and p-type and coaxial.
